As our honorable Stated Clerk is quick to remind us BASEBALL IS A METAPHOR FOR THE LIFE OF FAITH. From time to time all of us need to be quickened by the Holy Spirit when it comes to the foundations of our calling. Safeco Field retreats are just that: A time to be reminded of what is really important, and what is not – a quickening of the spiritual senses.
Come and join us in the Choir Loft (aka. Left Field Bleachers) for this year’s trinity of contests: JUNE 27 vs. Oakland, JULY 25 vs. those dreaded New York Yankees, and AUGUST 15 vs. Tampa Bay. All games are at 12:40 p.m. Tickets are approximately $15 (but price will vary under the new Mariner system).
